ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Monday said that fear and retribution from the terrorists and criminals had largely been reduced.
“The security needs to be transformed into an enduring peace and stability for the nation. He said a whole of the nation approach is important to bring our endeavors to a logical end,” he said while addressing 49th Convocation Ceremony of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Islamabad.
He congratulated the graduating students and stressed the need to invest in future generations to steer Pakistan towards success.
Earlier, President CPSP Professor Zafarullah Chaudhry in his welcome address acknowledged efforts of Raheel Sharif for peace and stability, achievements against terrorism and modernizing the health care system in Pakistan Army.
Army Chief was also conferred upon the honorary fellowship of the CPSP on his vision, resolve, sincerity and commitment against terrorism.
