The members of milad committees, traders, citizens and students were seen busy in decorating streets, bazaars and buildings with green flags, buntings and other articles in almost all areas of the country. The mosques, buildings and homes are being decorated with colorful lights, buntings and banners.
A number of Milad rallies were taken out here on Wednesday. Similarly, almost all main buildings of the city are being illuminated.
Main trading/business centres of Karachi are being beautified to celebrate the occasion with full religious fervor.Besides all the government buildings also illuminated with colourful lights throughout Karachi.
Vendors have established stalls at every nook and corner, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Special camps will be set up today and 12th Rabiul Awal at all the important places of the city for facilitating the people to participate in the Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations and processions.
Deputy Commissioner called upon the representatives of law enforcing agencies that all out efforts should be made to ensure maintenance of law and order in the district as well as smooth flow traffic.
