WEB DESK: This cold December last year was perhaps the darkest day in Pakistan’s history. Armed terrorists shot down 144 innocent lives, mostly children, who had gone to school.
This incident was perhaps the watershed moment for the country– all stakeholders got together, quit peace talks with the Taliban and launched the Operation Zarb-e-Azab– which aimed to take the bull by its horn.
The country finally came out with a clear policy– the Taliban were our enemies and the country was at war.
So that we never forget what these self-proclaimed custodians of faith– did on December 16, 2014– we try to relive the nightmare through a collection of pictures.
