KARACHI: Following the Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, now Pakistan-born British boxer Amir Khan wishes Peshawar team and Pakistan Super League (PSL) and also sent wishes to his friend ‘Boom Boom’ Shahid Afridi.
Earlier, Yuvraj became the first Indian player to send wishes to the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Supporting team Peshawar, Yuvraj said he would pray for the success of the team.
Few months back, boxer Amir was in Karachi when he met Afridi, both had fun time together and made boxing poses for camera. They both also appeared together in a TV commercial of Warid telecom.
PSL will begin from Feb 4, 2016 and a total of 24 matches will be played in the first edition of the T20 league. There are 5 teams in the league, namely, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
