WEB DESK: Aamir Khan’s intolerance statement converted into a hyped controversy which reached unprecedented heights. To add to extreme protests, India’s right-wing Hindu party Shiva Sena, announced Indian Rs 1lakh to anyone who dares to slap the mega star.
It seems that some students’ took this challenge very serious and proved that they can do it, if not really then virtually.
A couple of students, Himanish Ashar and Dhvani Shah, from the Miami Ad School have created a website where you can virtually slap Khan.
The site is named ‘Slapaamir.com’. On the website, a hand pops out which allows users to slap an image of the actor. Plus, his face undergoes changes after every slap.
The website became an instant rage. While some logged on to the site for fun, others heavily criticized it on social media.
However, the disclaimer on the website reads that it’s for “creative and humour purpose only and doesn’t represent any political views of the people involved.”
To be on the safe side, the message concluded with strong words: “Please be tolerant of our humour.”
While slapping Aamir Khan in reality seems really impossible, in the virtual world it’s now a piece of cake.
