LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said operation against terrorists and their facilitators would be expanded on the basis of intelligence.
“The war on terrorism would continue until the complete eradication of enemies of peace,” he said while addressing provincial Apex Committee meeting regarding National Action Plan (NAP) with Corps Commander Lahore Lt General Sadiq Ali in Lahore.
They discussed matters relating to National Action Plan, to eradicate terrorism from Punjab.
“The chief minister said nation stands by Pakistan Army,” Sharif said.
He said that Pakistan Army had broken the backbone of terrorists during war against terror.
