ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management in collaboration with other agencies has distributed 44,179 tents, 52,885 blankets and 25 ton medicine in earthquake, hit areas.
According to consolidated figures of relief operation, damages and losses issued by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the NDMA, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (PDMAs), Pakistan Army and other relief agencies has distributed 787.69 ton food packs, 62,00 plastic mats, 14,000 Tarpaulins, 14 ton bottled water, 49 water filtration plants and 11 generators in earthquake hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According breakup, 25,619 tents has been distributed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,6,560 in FATA, 400 in GB, 10,000 in Punjab and 1600 tents distributed in earthquake hit areas of Balochistan.
While 271 persons had been killed, 2141 injured and 36,710 houses have damaged due to recent earthquake.
According to the data, 225 people died, 1776 injured and 27,060 houses were damaged in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 29 people died, 209 got injured and 570 houses were damaged in FATA, 10 died, 61 got injured, 570 houses damaged in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Five people were died and 80 people injured and 20 houses were damaged in Punjab, 02 people were killed, 15 were injured and 22 houses were damaged in Azad Jammu and Kashmir due to recent earthquake.
