PTI spokesperson regrets all rumors about IK

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Dr Shireen Mazari on Thursday expressed regret at the manner in which rumours are being circulated by the media about the break-up of Chairman Imran Khan’s marriage to Reham Khan.

Dr Mazari, in a statement, said that on behalf of the PTI Chairman ” I wish to categorically state that all stories of vast monetary settlements made to Reham Khan are absolutely false and lies deliberately being floated to target Reham Khan and Imran Khan.”

Stories of Reham Khan hitting Imran Khan were absolute lies, she added.

She said no PTI leader was privy to either discussion neither of Imran Khan’s marriage nor of the divorce. Accusations of party leaders being a cause of the divorce were fabrications.

The party leadership, she said, had always kept out of the Chairman’s personal affairs and continued to do so.

It was unfortunate that the media was floating all sort of rumors and conjectures about the divorce of Imran Khan and Reham Khan at a time when both were going through a difficult personal time as were their families, especially their children, she said.
