WEB DESK: A street in Paris has been named after slain Pakistani jornalist Saleem Shahzad to mark the “international day to end impunity for crimes against journalists”.
The Pakistani embassy is also situated at the same street.
Shahzad’s picture also occupies the wall of fame at the Newseum in Washington DC.
Saleem Shahzad was abducted by unidentified assailants in 2011 and his tortured dead body was later recovered from Mandi Bahauddin on May 29, 2011.
