WEB DESK: Indian actress Nandita Das was all praises for the Khayal Festival held at Lahore and expressed gratitude to the team for inviting her over.
The B-Town actress and director, who was also a part of Mehreen Jabbar’s Ramchand Pakistani, said she was inspired by Khayaal.

Das spoke in a discussion session with Pakistani director, Sarmad Sultan Khoosat whose biopic Manto has been been getting a lot of rave reviews.
Earlier the actress had shown interest in making a film on Pakistani short story writer, Sadat Hasan Manto and is working on a script to trace his life.
Talking about the festival earlier, Nandita told IANS, “It is bringing together writers, thinkers, filmmakers, artists, actors and musicians to discuss and debate various issues. I am in two sessions and one of them will be a conversation with the Pakistan director/actor of the film on Manto.”
Khayal Festival, in collaboration with the Alhamra Arts Council, aims at bringing together culture, art, literature, music, dance, economy and sociopolitical issues through dialogues and discussions.
