Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to resume its political activities and announced to open its sector and unit offices. MQM Rabita Committee in a statement said that the party’s unit and sector offices will be reopened and asked its members of the parliament to ensure their presence at the party offices.
The party statement said the lawmakers will remain at the party offices to hear complaints of the people about the problems being faced by them.
The statement also said that all party offices will become election cells for the upcoming local council’s elections. MQM lawmakers had resigned on August 12 as a protest against the alleged victimisation of the party workers during Karachi operation.
