WEB DESK: India beat Pakistan by four goals in the final match of Junior Men’s Asia Cup hockey tounament in Kuantan Malaysia on Sunday, Aaj news reported .
The most awaited match of Junior Men’s Asia Cup came to end with the sparkling show by Indian hockey team to beat Pakistan by 6-2 in the final.
India took the lead in the 10th minute when Harmanpreet Singh successfully converted a penalty corner into a goal. Singh completed his hat-trick by scoring two more consecutive goals at 15th and 30th minute.
Harmanpreet Singh was the top scorer with four goals, while Armaan Qureshi and Manpreet scored one goal apiece for India.
On the other hand, Pakistan could manage to score only two goals contributed by Muhammad Yaqoob and Dilber Muhammad one apiece.
Pakistan junior hockey team qualified in the final after defeating the Korean team in penalty shootout of semi-final match on Saturday.
