Dr. Arif awarded fellowship in American “Study of Liver Diseases”

LAHORE: Chairman and Professor of Medicine, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore Medical College Dr.Arif Qayyum Khan has been awarded fellowship of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (FAASLD).

It is the highest honour among FAASLD membership which was awarded to a doctor who made significant contribution to the knoweldge or practice of liver and biliary diseases and considered a leader in the field. Dr. Khan’s interest include Hepatitis C and B, Cirrhosis of the liver, portal hypertension,liver cancer, peticulcer disease, colitis, GI Maligancies and pancreatobility disease etc.

Dr. Khan is also fellow of American College of Physician (FACP), fellow of Royal College of Physicians Glasgow UK (FRCP) fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London, fellow of American College of  Gastroenterology (FACG), fellow of American Gastrological Association and fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE).
