GWADAR: China is all set to construct an airport at Gwadar at a cost of Rs247 billion, Aaj News reported.
This was stated by the project director, Habib Ahmed during a briefing which was attended by Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and others.
The project will start in January 2016 and continue for 30 months, it was shared.
The airport will the biggest in Pakistan. During the meeting Pak-China trade relationship was also discussed.
The Chinese diplomats also signed papers for the construction of a school in Gwadar.
