WEB DESK: Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor Lieutenant General Nasir Janjua (Retd) has said the offer of Brahamdagh Bugti for giving up the demand of an Independent Balochistan will have to be given thorough consideration.
He said the situation was improving in Balochistan. Talking to media persons here on Friday, the National Security Advisor pointed out that several groups were involved in acts of terrorism in the areas where the law and order situation was grave.
He said activists of those groups also entered Quetta for terrorist activities to get maximum publicity. He said some neighbouring countries were arming and financing the militant groups in Balochistan. He rejected the remarks by certain critics that the Fararis who had recently laid down arms were not of significance and pointed out that they too were involved in spreading lawlessness.
