WEB DESK: The Bin Roye actress Armeena Rana Khan has decided to go all dark and sinister on the audience this time round.
Khan has played “bad girl” in Abbas Hassan’s video titled Sweet Girl that is already out. Ironically, the video is called sweet girl while khan plays bad girl in that but that’s the beauty of sinister videos.

As always the cute lady looks extremely gorgeous in her sinister looks. In fact, the song’s only appeal is the presence of the glam girl.
HIP quoted Khan as saying in an interview, “I do a lot of negative roles in dramas in Pakistan, but I’ve never done a sinister/dark role before in a music video. And I love to experiment, so whenever something interesting comes my way I do it. I’m bringing two industries together here.”
She further added, “I love a good story. If the story or the script is unique, I’ll commit, provided that I’m not tied down with anything else.”
Khan also explained the story line of the video in an interview with HIP. “It is a video about obsession and black magic, and about going to any extremes to get the love of your life. I’ve played a double role in it. The video is very very dark, almost sinister.”
The video is directed by Iranian British director Amir Taherian and British crew. The Director of Photography for Sweet Girl is Yana Rits-Cairns who has done several feature films in the UK. The shoot for the video lasted three days and was shot in Khan’s hometown London.
Abbas Hasan is a United Kingdom based Canadian-French pop music artist and actor of Pakistani origin, who has been named “the next big thing” in the Asian music/film scene by MTV India and HELLO! Magazine, and has recently won the Artist of the Year 2014 Award at Anokhi Media Awards in Canada.
Armeena Khan made her film debut in Pakistan with Hum Film’s Bin Roye. She has earlier worked in foreign films like Writhe, Huff! It’s Too Much and Unforgettable.
