WEB DESK: Ali Zafar, the famous Pakistani vocalist, volunteered to bear the educational expenses of the Justin Beiber Girls on the set of a television show on Sunday.
Ali Zafar was being interviewed by Jugnu Mohsin on her show at a local television channel, where she had also invited the famous Justin Bieber girls, Saania and Muqadas.
In the show, Saania and Muqaddas, who originally belong to a poor neighborhood, amazed the audience by singing Punjabi folk songs and an English song by Rihanna.
Ali Zafar was quite impressed by their talent and said that he would try to give them a chance in the next season of Coke studio. When he came to know that the teenage sisters’ wish to pursue their studies, Zafar also consented to bear their educational expenses, on screen.
“Parhna ap ka kaam hai, parhana mera kaam hai,” he said.
The teenage sisters became an internet sensation when a video of them singing Justin Bieber’s song Baby, with their mother doing background beats on a pot, went viral and then national media brought the girls to limelight.
The girls were later offered an ad by Coca Cola.
