MULTAN: Former foreign minister and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has condemned assault by a Hindu extremist group at Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board’s meeting in Mumbai.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, he said, ” The real face of Indian extremism is being exposed before the world.”
Shah Mehmood said the extremists also tried to stop book launching ceremony of Khursheed Mehmood Qasuri and a show by Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali in India.
He said extremism was on rise in India during Narendra Modi regime and Muslims were being tortured by the extremist groups.
It is pertinent to mention here that Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena assaulted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) office in Mumbai on Monday when Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan was in a meeting with his Indian counterpart Shashank Manohar.
