If you frequently wear high heels, you are setting yourself up for long-term issues.
Wear and tear problem with Knees:
Knees naturally absorbs the jerks when we walk and run. But due to high heels, the knees can have wear and tear problem, and also longer periods of wearing high heels can cause early age osteoarthritis.
When women wear heels, they have actually loaded all of their body’s weight on those delicate feet and toes, making themselves vulnerable to have any injury. A 4 inch heel (let’s say) has 30% higher chance of damaging your feet’s bones and leg’s nerves.
Can cause hip bone problem:
Wearing high heels makes your body uncomfortable, with hips pushed forcefully in forward direction. This might look cool and sexy, but it causes hip bone problems such as movements and stretching of hip muscles.
High heels can cause your spine uncomfortable by having constant pressure on it while walking. The force on your lumbar erector spine muscle can cause pain in your back and sore muscles. Also, you can develop constant back problems by wearing high heels every day for longer periods.
If you want to avoid all above mentioned problems, you should try to avoid high heels for longer periods, and wear flat shoes instead.
