WEB DESK: When the earthquake struck parts of Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 5742 schools fell apart.
Ten years later, only 3500 schools have been constructed by the government, state statistics by education campaign Alif Ailaan.
This proves that there is a demand for education but negligence in the supply side– that is the government.
School enrollment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands at 74 percent.
Is the government doing enough to impart education to children in earthquake-hit areas?
