WEB DESK: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Gilgit-Baltistan(GB) has sentenced Muttahida Qaumi Movement(MQM) leader Altaf Hussain to 81 years of imprisonment for anti-state speeches on Monday, Aaj News reported.
The court also gave orders to confiscate all properties of the MQM chief. A Rs2.4 million fine has been issued.
The court has ordered Altaf Hussain to appear before the judge.
Earlier in May, after facing strong criticism over his comments regarding the army, MQM chief Altaf Hussain had apologised for his words which had “hurt national security institutions and patriotic people.”
