WEB DESK: An artist has made a model inspired by Malala Yousufzai, in a bid to inspire little girls to give more to the society, the Huffington Post reported.
Wendy Tsao began a project called ‘Mighty dolls’ where she repainted the controversial Bratz dolls– who parents criticize for wearing too much make and sleazy clothes– into powerful and influential women.
She has also painted dolls representing J.K.Rowlings, the Harry Potter writer and Roberta Bondar, the first female astronaut, among others.
Tsao also said she has been “overwhelmed” by the response to the dolls so far.
“Many people feel strongly about these dolls and what they represent,” she said.
Tsao plans to begin selling the dolls in the next few weeks on eBay.
