Sindh government takes back rickshaw ban

KARACHI: The Sindh government has agreed to let qingqi rickshaws ply the streets once again but only if they seat a maximum of four passengers, Aaj News reported.

The advocate general of Sindh has submitted a request in the Supreme Court.

Transporters had earlier filed an appeal in the court against the recent ban on the qingqi rickshaw. Their request was accepted on humanitarian grounds to save hundreds of drivers from getting unemployed
