Significance of Hajj



WEBDESK: Hajj, attended by millions of pilgrims each year, an essential part of our faith and practice as it is the fifth pillar of Islam. It takes place in the month of Dhul Hijjah which is the 12th month of the Islamic lunar calendar.

Once in their lifetime, the pilgrimage is obligatory for all Muslims.

Although Hajj is obligatory upon all Muslims, but still their are two conditions. The first condition to perform Hajj is that you must be physically able and the second is that you must be financially able.

Hajj allows us the recognition of the Oneness of the Almighty. Hajj plays a crucial role in strengthening our faith.

In strengthening our faith springs from our determination, perseverance, patience and control of acts, Hajj plays an important role indeed.
