ISLAMABAD: Police had taken extraordinary measures to eradicate criminals activities and restoration of complete peace in Karachi, Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali said on Thursday.
“The incidents of murders, street crime, target killings and extortions have decreased due to the ongoing operation in the metropolitan city,” he said talking to a news channel.
He said that police were performing their duties devotedly and also arrested several proclaimed offenders involved in various murder incidents.
Ghulam Haider Jamali said the police have gathered significant clues in killing of Arsahd Jafri. The criminals killed by police personnel in Korangi have also involved in killing of Jafri.
