We will give befitting response of Indian aggression: Sartaj

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will give a befitting response if there is any aggression against Pakistan, adviser on National Security Sartaj Aziz said on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.

While talking to the media in Islamabad, the adviser said he will raise the issue of LOC violation in the meeting of DG Rangers and BSF.

He said Pakistan that would take up the issue of unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary. The 2003 ceasefire violation will also be discussed in the meeting.

He was responding to a question about a statement made by Indian Information Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who said his government would explore every possible means, including carrying out a covert or a special operation, to arrest Dawood Ibrahim or Hafiz Saeed.

“They want better ties, but on their own terms,” Sartaj said

Azizi said, “Since day one the policy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has been anti-Pakistan”. A befitting response would be given in case of aggression from India.
