KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has announced a strike to mourn the death of its two workers on Saturday, Aaj News reported.
On Friday, bodies of two Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers was found on the Northern By-pass. The bodies have been identified as Muhammad Adeel and Zohaibullah. MQM leaders confirmed that they were workers from the Korangi sector.
MQM leader, Farooq Sattar said that the deceased had been in the custody of the Rangers for the last four months, during a press conference at the Khursheed Memorial Hall.
He appealed to the traders and transport community to show solidarity with the party.
He said that the workers had been picked up without an official remand.
Despite the strike call business in the city remained as usual.
