Law minister urges political parties for unity

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah Tuesday urged the political parties to stay united for the success of on-going anti-terrorism operation.

“Entire nation is standing with the Pak army for a peaceful and terrorism-free country,” he added while talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly.

He said, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) took PPP leader Dr Asim Hussain in custody in corruption case and NAB was responsible for the investigation against detained PPP leader.

Sana said, Asif Zardari had always talked about politics of reconciliation but sometime he gets emotional.

Reacting to Zardari’s statement about Rana Mashhood, he said, the said minister was declared innocent in Rehman Malik’s investigation.

He said, the provincial government had taken strict steps to counter terrorism. “We are conducting search operations especially in Lahore and nabbed dozens of suspects,” he said.
