Indian BSF resorts to unprovoked firing on villages in Chaprar sector

SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) Friday resorted to unprovoked firing on border villages in Chaprar sector of the Sialkot Working Boundary.

According to senior officials of the Punjab Rangers, the Indian BSF started unprovoked firing with small and heavy weapons early in the morning which continued for 15 minutes.targeting the civilian population. Several houses were damaged.

The Punjab Rangers retaliated effectively in a befitting manner, making the Indian guns silent, the PR officials said and added that no loss of life was reported.

There have been more than 75 ceasefire violations by the Indian BSF during July and August 2015.
