High level security meeting points finger at Afghanistan for Badaber Attack

ISLAMABAD: It was decided the country will deal strictly with all terrorists from Afghanistan, at a high level security meeting presided by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The meeting was held to review the security situation of the country after the Badaber attack on Friday, which resulted in the loss of 29 and injured over 40.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa, Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Major Gen Aamir Riaz, Director General Military Intelligence (DGMI) Major Gen Nadeem Zaki are attended the meeting.

It was maintained that the attack was planned in Afghanistan and it was decided that the Pakistan government will respond strongly to it.
