LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Monday said, frequent exchange of trade and industrial delegations would help strengthen business relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
Talking to a Turkish delegation led by All Industrialists and Businessmen Association Chairman Yasir Wodgain, he said, Pakistan and Turkey had decades-long friendly relations while bilateral economic ties between the two sides were on the rise.
He said, the Punjab government had established Punjab Turkish desk for the promotion of relations.
He told the delegation that an official delegation would participate in the expo being held in Istanbul in October next month.
Head of Turkish delegation Yasir Wodgain praised the Punjab government for accomplishing mega welfare projects and observed that the province really made commendable development in all sectors.
