WEB DESK: Pakistan Super League will now be held in United Arab Emirates (UAE). Initially the tournament was planned to be held in Doha, Qatar, Aaj News reported.
Initially, UAE was the prior choice as the venue for the tournament but due to the issue of availability of dates the Pakistan Cricket Board changed the venue from UAE to Doha for the tournament. Now it has switched back to the Dubai.
Sports fanatics for PSL seem very excited since the announcement of the tournament. At least 13 international sports celebrities have showed interest in playing for PSL including the West Indies batsman Chris Gayle.
Ambassador PSL Ramiz Raja made the announcement on his twitter profile.
The first Pakistan Super Premier League will now be held in UAE in which five teams will participate in 24 matches from February 4 to 24.According to the Chairman of Pakistan super league council Najam Sethi, the victory price of the championship will be $1,000,000.
Except for Indian players, well known players from all other countries have showed interest in playing in the Pakistan Super League.
