Talal asks PTI to shun politics on Kasur incident

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Muhammad Talal  Chaudhary Monday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)to avoid politics on  issue of Kasur incident.

Talking to media outside the Parliament, he said, it would not appropriate to do politics on the issue of Kasur as it was high time to join hands to take practical steps to deal with such incident.

He said, it was unfortunate that Reham Khan and Imran Khan were using  such incidents for their own interests.

He said the performance of PIT in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa was not satisfactory, adding that there were chances that PTI might lose by election in NA 19.

He thanked media for highlighting the Kasur incident and said the government was committed to bring the culprits to justice with in no time.

He said “judicial inquiry has been ordered by the Punjab Chief Minister; while out of 15 accused 14 have been arrested by the law enforcement agencies”.

Talal Chaudhary said, soon after reporting the incident, the government had asked people to approach administration for registration of their cases.

He said that the government was considering to trial the children abuse cases under terrorist act to give exemplary punishment to the culprits.

To question, he said law and order situation in Punjab province was much better as compared to others provinces.
