ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain Tuesday underscored the need for improvement in the quality and standards of health services related to heart diseases.
He was talking to Maj. Gen (R) Masud-ur-Rehman Kiani, Chairman Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH), who called on him along with a delegation of PANAH Trust at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The President urged to create awareness among the general public about risks of heart diseases.
The President called for imparting Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training to save precious lives of those having a heart attack.
The President appreciated the efforts of PANAH to prevent, minimize and control heart-related diseases.
He also expressed the hope that PANAH would continue enhancing its capacity to cure the maximum number of heart patients.
