Cross border attack on check post leave four troops martyred in Khyber Agency: ISPR

PESHAWAR: At least four security personnel were martyred and four others injured in cross border attacks on Pakistani security check post in Khyber Agency on Sunday, ISPR said.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the rocket fired from Afghanistan hit a 8000 feet high Pakistani check-post in Akhandwala pass in Khyber Agency. As a result, four killed and four others sustained injured.

The injured have been rushed to Agency’s headquarter hospital.

Pakistani troops befittingly responded and eliminated the group of terrorists, it concluded.
