Comedian Fareed Khan paid a rich tribute

KARACHI: Noted Urdu poet, critic and scholar, Prof. Sahar Ansar said on Friday that deaths of numerous comedians in a last few years, is a huge loss to the country.

He said this while addressing in a condolence reference for the famous comedian of stage, television and radio, Fareed Khan organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan – Karachi.

He said that Fareed Khan Puri spent his whole life in positive activities.

Prominent artist, Munawer Saeed that death of Fareed Khan is an end of an era and his contributions as an artist and comedian are unforgettable.

Other notables including Ms. Haseena Moin, Saadat Jaffery, Iqbal Lateef, Shahnaz Siddiqi, Nusrat Ali and Zafar Raamey also paid a rich tribute to Fareed Khan.
