RAWALPINDI: The Attock Suicide case has been registered in the Counter Terrorism Department Rawalpindi, Aaj News reported.
The FIR includes cases for murder and inciting terrorism. A special team has been formed for investigating the suicide attack.
Meanwhile, DNA samples of the suicide attackers have been collected.
Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada was injured and 19 others were killed when a bomb ripped through his personal office in Attock, on Sunday.
The blast which is said to be a suicide attack destroyed the roof of the building. Khanzada and 25 others remained trapped under the debris for over two hours, after his body was recovered.
Khanzada was conducting a political jirga in his hometown when the blast occurred early morning.
