Ahsan Iqbal leaves for China to discuss CPEC implementation process

ISLAMABAD: On the special directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a high level delegation led by Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan Iqbal left here for China Monday on three-day visit, to discuss the implementation process of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Talking to media, prior to his departure for China, Ahsan Iqbal said that during the visit the delegation would review the implementation process of CPEC project with top leadership of China.

He vowed to timely completion of the project at all cost.

“The CPEC project would benefit equally all the provinces of Pakistan, however the province of Balochistan and its people would benefit the most after the implementation of the project”, he remarked.

“We would make Balochistan a symbol of development in the country”, he added.

He reiterated that through initiation of energy and infrastructure projects job opportunities would be created for the millions of the people across the country.

He expressed the hope that people of Pakistan would foil the conspiracies of those elements who wanted to create uncertainty in the country.
