MULTAN: The 1st Haj flight, carrying intending pilgrims, will leave for Saudi Arabia from Multan International Airport on August 21.
Director Hajj Multan Rehan Khan while talking to APP on Saturday informed that a total of 8100 intending pilgrims would fly from Multan.
As many as 5000 pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia under government scheme while 3100 pilgrims under private Hajj operators.
He said that 16 flights including 12 PIA and 4 private airline will transport the intending pilgrims from Multan till September 11.
He said the vaccination process was in progress at Haji camp.
He said that all services and facilities were being provided to the intending pilgrims.
He said that special training was being imparted to intending pilgrims at 17 Tehsil headquarters in South Punjab.
