ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday forecast scattered thundershower in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Hazara, Malakand and Zhob divisions for next 24 hours.
Lahore and Gujranwala divisions and different areas of Kashmir will witness isolated heavy rainfall, while there will be isolated rain-thundershower in Sargodha, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Kohat, Sibbi, Kalat, Sukkur divisions and Gilgit- Baltistan during the period.
During last 24 hours, scattered rain/thundershower occurred in different parts of the country including Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Sargodha, Faisalabad,Bahawalpur, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Bannu Divisions and Kashmir.
The chief amount of rainfall (mm) recorded during last 24 hours, Islamabad (Golra 18mm, Saidpur 11mm, Zero Point 8mm), Lahore 42mm, Sialkot 34mm, Murree 27mm, Faisalabad 18mm, Jhelum 10mm, Mandibahauddin 12mm, Mangla 11mm, Kotli 9mm, Malamjaba 7mm, Muzaffarabad 7mm, Gujranwala 6mm, Joharabad 6mm, Peshawar City 6mm, Khanpur 5mm and Garhi Dupatta 4mm.
The highest maximum temperatures were recorded in Turbat 45?C, Nokkundi 44?C and Punjgur 42?C.
