KARACHI: A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party Gujranwala called on the Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and briefed him about the continuous political victimisation by PML-N and registration of fake cases against the Party workers, said a statement released by the party.
The delegation comprised of Lala Asadullah City PPP President Gujranwala, Lala Shakeelur Rehman ex-MPA, Shaikh Mohammad Iqbal Vice President City Gujranwala, Lala Falaksher, Rao Mohammad Ikram ticket-holder, senior leaders Shabbir Pehlwan, Shah Faisal and Syed Adnan Shah.
PPPP vice President Senator Sherry Rehman and Jameel Soomro also present on the occasion. Talking to delegation, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said PPP stands by its principles and ideology and it always gives due importance to the Party workers considering them as key assets.
PPP Chairman said he will visit Punjab soon and meet the workers to listen their advices to run the Party more effectively and in well-organised way.
He asked the workers to keep contact with the people at grass-root level and spread the Party message door-to-door. PPP Gujranwala delegation complained to the Party Chairman about continuous political victimisation at the hands of PML-N governments at center and Punjab through initiating fake and false cases against the workers.
However, they pledged to continue to work for the Party with full commitment, loyalty and devotion.
