MULTAN: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said politics of sit-in caused an immense loss to economy of the country.
Talking to journalists on his surprised visit to Metro Bus Service route here on Saturday, he said the national economy was improving rapidly and the report of the judicial commission would help improve economy further.
He added that the government was striving hard to end unemployment and utilising all possible resources to put the country on way to progress and prosperity.
Shahbaz Sharif also expressed satisfaction over work on the Multan Metro Bus project and said the work was going on with a rapid speed.
The chief minister said the project would bring about a change in the region with the help of the best transportation services.
About flood situation, he said magnitude of flood was low as compared to the previous years. He, however, added that the federal and Punjab governments were working in an organized manner to provide relief to flood-hit families.
