ISLAMABAD: Pakistan gunned down an Indian drone in Azad Kashmir on Wednesday, Aaj news reported.
The drone was hovering near the Line of Control at Bhumber sector in Azad Kashmir when the Pakistan military shot it down, the ISPR said.
The drone was taking pictures at the border, the ISPR said.
Meanwhile the Indian high commissioner has been summoned in Islamabad to protest over the suspicious drone. “We have called the Indian high commissioner T C A Raghavan to our office,” said a statement by the foreign office.
Earlier, in May a pigeon which crossed over in India was held in custody for several days as it was thought it was a Pakistani spy. A stamped message written on it raised suspicions over it being a spy.
