KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information and Irrigation Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has asked the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, to tender an apology to the nation over the rejection of his allegation by the Judicial Commission regarding the alleged election rigging.
He said in a statement on Sunday that the PTI chief was unable to convincingly present his viewpoint before the Judicial Commission which was formed on his demand.
Khuhro said that Imran Khan was also not able to come up with sufficient evidence to prove his contention.
He was of the view that Imran Khan should apologise to the nation as he has caused loss to the country’s economy and also wasted months’ time.
The Senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nihal Hashmi, was also critical of the approach of PTI chief Imran Khan.
Talking to APP, he maintained that Imran Khan `insulted’ the country’s Constitution, harmed its democracy and deceived the people.
Hashmi said that the PTI chief should tender an apology for “misleading” the people, wasting time and causing harm to economy and obstructing the path of progress and development.
He said that, to be very precise, Imran Khan knows nothing about the politics as he does not care about the aspirations of the voters.
Hashmi said that it seems that the PTI chief was only carrying forward his personal agenda.
He stated that the PTI chief lacks the qualities of comprehension as well as expressing himself.
Hashmi also described Imran Khan as a self-centered person who does not rise above self.
He was of the view that it seems as if the PTI chief has no future in the country’s politics.
