ISLAMABAD: The weather experts have indicated chances of monsoon rain in the upper parts of the country on Eid-ul-Fitr, Aaj News reported.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), scattered thundershowers are expected in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
The monsoon currents are penetrating in the upper parts of the country which are likely to intensify during next couple of days.
The monsoon currents would produce scattered rain and thundershowers in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir during coming few days.
According to the PMD, heavy thundershowers are expected at isolated places in Upper Punjab including Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions, Hazara Division and Kashmir on Friday and Saturday.
However, the weather would remain hot in most of the parts of country during the next 24 hours.
