KARACHI: The Wild Life Experience Centre at the heart of KARACHI: Nazimabad is a feast for the eyes. Brimming with birds and animals; here you can wrap a 12 feet yellow python around your neck- or pose with colourful macaws perched on your shoulder. You can even take a stroll around the park with the peacocks.
TWEC is not just a zoo but wildlife conservation centre. It educates visitors and is supporting several causes like the Save the Vultures, Stop Bear Baiting and Save Native Wildlife.
There is cockatoo cooing away in a corner, demanding attention.
And a little crocodile
A turtle which lives in its swamp
A python which hisses away in the sun
Colourful finches and exotic birds
Pigeons that coo in their cagesA Macaw
A jackal which looks like a dog
A white bunny
And a lizard which you can hold in your hand
And an empty cage for a bear and tiger
The facility is open for visitors between 11am to 4pm every day.
