SARGODHA/MIANWALI: Three more death row convicts were sent to gallows in Sargodha and Mianwali jails on Tuesday morning.
Murder convict Muhammad Khan was hanged to death in district Jail Sargodha for killing two people over resistance during robbery bid in Karachi 13 years back.
Another death row prisoner was executed in Central Jail Mianwali. Khizar Hayat had killed his cousin in 1998.
In Attock also, a twin-murder convict, Chan Zeb, was executed at District Jail in the early small hours today. Over a longstanding feud, the assassin killed two brothers.
Pakistan lifted the moratorium on death penalty on Dec. 17, a day after Pakistani Taliban gunmen attacked Army Public School in Peshawar and killed 134 students and 19 adults.
The moratorium, was in force since 2008.
