LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Saturday visited residence of Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA, Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan in Kamoki, who was gunned down.
He expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family on the tragic incident of murder of MPA, Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan and his son.
He also offered Fateha for the departed souls of Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan and his son.
Talking to the members of the bereaved family, Shahbaz Sharif said that he was deeply grieved over the murder of Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan and his son.
He said that the accused killing Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan and his son would not escape punishment and the perpetrators of this incident would be brought to justice.
He said that the services of Rana Shamshad Ahmad Khan for the area and the party would be remembered forever.
A briefing was given to the Chief Minister about progress of the case and was told that an accused of this case had been arrested, upon which, Shahbaz Sharif directed the authorities to also arrest the remaining culprits at the earliest and take them to task.
Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah and Inspector General Police Punjab also accompanied the Chief Minister.
