QUETTA: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived here on a day long visit specially to attend an “All Parties Conference” convened by Government of Baluchistan in the aftermath of Mastung Carnage.
Prime Minister was accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Jam Kamal State Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources.
He was warmly welcomed at the Quetta International Airport by Chief
Minister Baluchistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Senior Minister and President Pakistan Muslim League (N), Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Provincial Ministers Muhammad Khan Shahwani, Mir Khalid Lango, Abul Raheem Ziaratwal, Saleh Botani, and top civilian officials.
Prime Minister was flown from Quetta airport to Khalid Airbase from where he is scheduled to arrive at Governor House for a briefing on Law and Order situation of the province.
Later in the afternoon, Premier would attend an APC convened specifically with reference to Mastung Carnage in which 22 innocent citizens lost their lives when unidentified gunmen abucted about 30 passengers from two Pishin-Karachi bound coaches in Khad Kucha area of Tehsil Mastung.
Prime Minister is likely to return to federal capital in the evening.
