ISLAMABAD: Electricity shortfall reached up to 5000 Megawatt,, Aaj News reported.
According to National Transmission & Dispatch Company, demand of electricity reached up to 15, 500 megawatt while the production is 11, 300 megawatts making the shortfall a total of 5, 000 megawatt.
Urban areas of country are facing eight hours of power failure while rural areas are facing 14 hours of load shedding.
